London, Part Two

Rainy day at the Tower of London

Contemplating St. Paul's Cathedral

At St. Paul's Cathedral

View from the top of St. Paul's, taken by Simon. This was right before he dropped the camera, with lens out, facedown on the stone floor. That was the end of that camera and pictures for that day. Thankfully, the SD card (and therefore our existing photos) was unaffected After some discussion, since we were only 4 days into our trip, we decided to go camera shopping the next morning. Central London shops not being the bargain location to buy a camera, we feel we got a reasonably good deal. So far we've liked the new camera a lot, and as the lens does not extend out of the front of the new camera, it's probably a safer choice. Simon has taken many pictures since and hasn't again forgotten to put his wrist through the camera strap.

Tyring out the new camera.

Simon, no worries! I've done the same thing to TWO cameras!
