First Food!

Gideon, one day short of six months (actually technically only a few hours short), enjoyed his first solid food tonight! We've been giving him ice cubes in the Baby Safe Feeder as teethers at dinner time, so when we put avocado in it tonight, he was a little surprised. But he knew just what to do with it after his practice with the ice cubes, and ate most of what was in there. Aside from the inevitable layer of green slime over everything in arms' reach, most of the food was in him rather than on him, so we think he liked it! He's the first of our three to enjoy solids the first time they were offered, and the quickest to get the hang of the Baby Safe Feeder. Go Gideon!
