Simon lost his first tooth last night. He put it in the pouch on his "tooth pillow" and in the morning there was a packet of lettuce seeds in its place. These will be "his" seeds to plant and take care of in our soon-to-be square foot garden. I got the idea from the book The Creative Family, which also suggested The Seed Bunny as a good book on losing teeth.

Congratulations, Simon!
So, are you keeping the tooth? My mom has all mine and I think it's just about the grossest collection I've ever seen.
Emerson just got her first tooth (same day). Must be a cosmic balance of teeth.
