Today, Gideon was watching out our front window and said "Truck!" very enthusiastically. Sure enough there was a fire truck parked in front of the school across the street, and its ladder was fully extended! We proceeded to watch as two firemen (in no apparent hurry) climbed up to and on the roof of the school, back down a little later, and then left. Still no idea why. Gideon thought this was excellent entertainment, and declared after they left, "More up high guy!" (his longest sentence yet).
A few days ago, Clover was looking up to the sky and declared, "I see two million stars!"
Joel replied, "I don't think you can see quite that many."
Clover responded, "Oh, I'm just estimating."
