Acts 2

Inspired by a friend's blog post, we decided to have a special treat to celebrate Pentecost Sunday. Here are our "Holy Spirit Ice Cream Balls!" (follow the link to find out how to make them). You're supposed to have 12--one for each of the apostles, but that was too much ice cream for us all at once, so we made 4. It was pretty fun! (And yes, they really are on fire.)

It occurred to me afterwards that they need not be ice cream. You could do tongues of flame on anything you wanted: brownies, cupcakes, even little gingerbread "apostles."
