Odd Fingernails

Simon got a great math video for his birthday, which he and Clover both like and have watched several times. 

Today, I was cutting Clover's fingernails. Some were quite long and others not, but I was trimming them all to look neat. As I was cutting one of the shorter ones, she said "Why are you cutting that one?"

I replied, "So they will all be nice and even."

To which she responded, "I want you to make them nice and ODD."
